Description

Leading Customer Experience

  • Drive brand loyalty and ensure customer satisfaction through effective merchandising, the maintenance of excellent stores’ standards, and customer service.
  • Create a true Customer-centric environment in our stores by ensuring that we are consistently providing exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize customer feedback to build a strategic action plan that enhances customer experience and drive business growth and sustainability.
  • Champion and implement technology solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Leading your team

  • Direct a team of Regional Managers, providing leadership and support to ensure they meet or exceed operational targets.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning, a commitment to quality, and the development of future leaders.
  • Extreme ownership take responsibility for those on your team, help them learn from their mistakes and champion their successes.
  • Lead by example on all operations sides and offer coaching whenever needed to improve team performance.
  • Lead and mentor stores’ management teams, encouraging professional growth and development while actively managing staffing challenges.
  • Ensure a fair and professional hiring, Performance review, and termination process at your stores.

Leading your business

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail locations, ensuring consistency and execution above and beyond the requirements of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase operational efficiency streamlining, sales growth, and profitability across all stores.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Executive Team to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for expansion or improvement.

Focus on what makes Big Box special and leverage our strengths to improve customer experience and drive sales.

  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting on store performance, presenting regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Liaise with the processing and purchasing departments to optimize product assortment and inventory levels.
  • Provide leadership throughout new store openings, assisting in the successful launch of our brand across the country.
  • Ensure total compliance with all federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations in the stores.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in retail management, with a proven track record of success in multi-unit management at the Regional or Director level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a growing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in retail management software and analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel to various locations as needed 50%+
  • Passionate about customer service and act as role model for your team.
  • Has a proven track of meeting and exceeding the sales targets while controlling your expenses.
