If you're inspired by the challenge, we are expanding our team and looking for a lab technician available for a 18 to 24 months mandate to help us continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and analysis in development and quality control;
- Setup, maintenance and execution of experiments on a variety of analytical equipment;
- Assist and communicate analysis results to the team;
- Assist R&D and production teams;
- Responsible for general laboratory equipment;
- Contribute to the shipping process;
- Any other related tasks.
Desired profile
- Collegial in analytical chemistry (or related field);
- At least one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience;
- Knowledge of the different types of liquid chromatography (HPLC, SEC), knowledge of spectroscopy is an asset;
- Mechanical and electronic skills would be considered an asset for repairing broken equipment;
- Ability to work according to the Good Laboratory Practices and maintain a high standard of scientific rigor;
- High concern for health and safety at work;
- Autonomous, meticulous, rigorous, methodical;
- Interested in teamwork and continuous improvement;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English;
