Business Development Manager

Our client is a highly regarded manufacturer within the building materials sector with a strong brand, a history of product innovation, and a commitment to quality and customer service. They continue to invest in people, processes, and product development to support sustained growth across the markets they serve, both domestic and international. The Business Development Manager will divide their time between building a strong pipeline of opportunities with new dealers, OEMs, and specialty partners in the LBM channel across Ontario, and nurturing existing relationships with clients. The goal is to strengthen partnerships, uncover new revenue, and support the long term success of the territory.
This role is suited to a sales professional who understands the building materials landscape and enjoys combining account management with strategic growth. You will work closely with customers to educate, promote, and expand the product lines, while identifying new markets and applications that align with the company’s strengths.
Our client has built a strong internal culture and wants this individual to be part of it day to day - to learn, to train, to contribute, to inspire others. When not on the road meeting with customers, the role is based at the head office - based in Middlesex County. The team learns by working together in the same space, sharing information, and building knowledge through real time collaboration. This cannot be achieved in a remote structure, so on site engagement is an important part of the position.

Compensation Disclosure Ontario : Base Salary range : $80,000 - $95,000 + variable bonus / commission (OTE $30,000), vehicle (allowance, mileage, or company car depending on preference and fleet availability), business & travel expenses, and health and dental benefits. PTO.
