Calling all Warehouse Team Leads or Assistant Warehouse Managers in the KW / Stratford / New Hamburg area. We have an incredible opportunity with an established and growing company in New Hamburg ready to add a new Assistant Warehouse Manager.

If you have at least 2 years as a Warehouse Assistant Manager, Team Lead or Supervisor this may be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising warehouse staff and oversee daily activities
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving processes
  • Manage order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of inventory when necessary up to 50lbs (rare)
  • Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory tracking
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse layout and workflow
  • Fabricate and build pallets as needed for shipment
  • Checking labels and ensuring they match
  • Ensure smooth operation of movement

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in warehouse distribution operations
  • You have a minimum 5 years working in a warehouse and distribution environment
  • Experience with order fulfillment processes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50lbs)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly AS400 is an asset
  • Competence in utilizing reach trucks for material handling
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to supervise warehouse staff efficiently
  • Forklift experience
