Position Title : Senior Security Analyst
Location : Remote (Must reside in MI, NV, TX, GA, WA)
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct information security analysis of the entire information system.
Perform vulnerability assessments on various operating systems.
Design and develop dashboards within SIM environments (e.g., Trout, Splunk).
Optimize vulnerability assessment technologies to enhance scan efficiency.
Monitor and respond to threats, ensuring timely resolution of anomalies and events.
Provide regular security posture updates to management.
Mentor junior staff on security practices, protocols, and analysis techniques.
Other Duties :
Assist with troubleshooting and incident response as needed.
Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Job Skills :
Proficiency with Cisco products.
Extensive experience in information security.
Familiarity with network security practices and protocols.
Alignment with corporate culture.
Self-starter with strong information security principles.
Knowledge of common protocols (e.g., HTTP, SMTP).
Ability to detect anomalies across various log sources.
Excellent communication skills.
Capability to assess security threats effectively.
Competence in navigating different technologies during incident response.
Proficiency in documenting technologies for procedures and playbooks.
