Responsibilities :
- Arrange and chair topical Section meetings and activities throughout the program year.
- Attend Council meetings and the Annual General Meeting and prepare Section Reports or other material as requested.
- Serve as the Nova Scotia representative on the National Section’s Executive.
- Stay informed about changes (legislative, judicial, etc.) that may impact the practice area and liaise with CBA-NS staff and Committee Chairs as needed to propose advocacy work, member communications or other initiatives.
- Attend any orientation or other meetings that may be arranged by the Executive Committee, Section Committee and / or the Section Activity Coordinator when invited.
- Such other responsibilities as may be requested by the Executive Committee, Section Committee and / or the Section Activity Coordinator throughout the program year.
