Senior Technical Writer
Remote, On-Site when required Nuclear Site, Tiverton, ON
Introduction
We are currently hiring a Technical Writer for our Nuclear client., support it's projects within the OPG and Bruce Power Nuclear Plants.
You will be responsible for collaborating with the Technical Engineering team to review data and compile the material into a pre-feasibility report.
1 year contract potential extension.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Technical Engineering team to review data and compile the material into a pre-feasibility report.
- Take the lead to compile the pre-feasibility report and re-arrange the formatting, add pictures (provided by Engineers), do the professional captions of photos, tables and appendices, and link them well.
- Review the technical writing of different members and make it coherent to one style so that the document flows well.
- Check for grammar, writing style, English, and the tone of communication.
- Fox Pre-feasibility report, awaiting confirmation.
Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office
- Formatting and putting together PDF documents.
- Technical writing certification or education is preferred.
- University or post graduate students can apply as well.
- Experience working in the mining industry, oil and gas and / or an understanding of underground mining would be an asset.
