- Reporting to the National Commercial Director, Hospital, the Hospital Manager is a central, customer-facing, senior individual contributor role.
- Via face-to-face and some hybrid calls, the Hospital Key Account Manager is the key contact for leading Canadian hospital Pharmacists in Ontario and some western provinces, delivering a high level of service and quality.
- By building advocacy through the network, he / she creates and explore opportunities to accelerate the business growth as measured by an increasing market share, new listings and by sharing new product ideas to Head Office & Business Development which can address unmet needs and meet financial goals.
- Aligned with the Hospital growth strategy, the Hospital Key Account Manager is responsible for delivering competitive and compelling plans and offers to positively position Pharmascience in the Canadian market.
- Finally, the Hospital Key Account Manager acts as the anchor towards expanding on ourabilities in navigating and performing in the Hospital setting with their respective GPOs while supporting Head Office in the planning and the execution of successful RFPs to increase ourleadership.
Responsibilities :
- Work to achieve and exceed established sales, profitability targets and business objectives for all hospital accounts.
- Increase sales and create demand through defined activities and by supporting targeted activities in relations with the Hospital and GPOs affairs.
- Build and maintain strong, positive business relationships with Group Purchasing Organizations outside Quebec and customers through regular and frequent contacts and communications.
- Plan and support Head Office to maximize RFP successes.
- Conduct activities with key customers aimed at building insights to the organization and to support the business development division by informing of potential future opportunities (i.
- e. Themed Hospital Pharmacist Advisory boards);
- Proactively collaborate with the Business development and / or the marketing team(s) to identify product opportunities to be explored and to drive concept testing as needed.
- Seek continuous improvement in all customers related interactions as well as internal processes to ensure optimal efficiency and superior customer experience.
- Proactively prepare and submit monthly sales, activities and other analysis to track progress towards objectives and metrics in addition to highlighting areas of opportunity and / or concern.
- Analyze hospital accounts and Group Purchasing Organizations’ strategic priorities, sales and long-term goals to create synergies and mutually beneficial business solutions to expand corporate relationship and grow the business
- Develop a holistic annual plan with clear direction and metrics for identified key Hospitals and their respective GPOs.
