Description :
ATCO Frontec is seeking a Journeyman Electrician with frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada.
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation / dismantling of electrical systems.
Rotation :Responsibilities :
- Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects / deficiencies
- Conduct timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment
- Provide input to the Maintenance Supervisor for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
- Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Journeyman Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of years’ experience.
- Class license and clean drivers abstract is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to read drawings and schematics
- Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
