The Brand Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing and has responsibility for the execution of national marketing campaigns + promotions, digital / social media marketing, content development, menu updates and data analysis to drive Brand Corporate and Franchised sales and traffic.
Role Responsibilities :
- Supports the development of the creative strategy, advertising plan and creative executions
- working with the ad agency and / or internal team
- Provide analytical feedback on marketing programs and menu mix, creating reports and drawing conclusions from the data
- Supports the development of media and digital strategies and plan annually in partnership with media AORs
- Manage and create strategies for social content development, alongside vendors and influencers
- Includes reporting and analyzing brand impacts
- Responsible for managing pricing strategy and implementation across various menu sets and vendors (print and digital)
- Manage NYF Ad Fund budget and accruals
- Manage all delivery platform channels and related promotions
- Manage website development, Fry Society Loyalty Program and email management (CRM)
- strategies alongside vendors
- Conduct thorough and timely post program analysis and evaluation, working collaboratively with analytics + media teams
- Oversee and lead menu and pricing development
- Administrative tasks may include : coupon ordering + fulfillment, guest feedback, etc
- Carrying out market research and customer intercepts in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
- Assist restaurants in building local store marketing plans. Identify new opportunities per restaurant and support them with ongoing requests, including creative briefing, development, and execution
- Coordinate tracking of all local restaurant marketing efforts and lead post-evaluation analysis
- Work closely with our agencies to strengthen our social media presence, including strategy, monthly content calendars, content development, community management and reporting
Skills and experience :
- Education / Professional Credentials : University Degree, BBA, BCom preferred
- Minimum 5 years marketing experience - restaurant experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual French / English is considered an asset)
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
- Strong understanding of all social platforms and how to best use each
- Ability to create brand content for social platforms, with examples to share
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Comfortable negotiating with vendors and influencers if required
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
