Minimum 8-10 years experience in solar PV system design and implementation. CSA Solar Training - "Construction Electrician (NOC 7241) Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Certified" - Considered an asset. Located in the Edmonton Area DSP's will be considered 5 / 2 Rotation Schedule Must have valid driver's license & own reliable transportation Travel may be required Full-time

DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement electrical systems for solar energy projects, including PV arrays, inverters, and storage solutions.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for solar installations.
- Perform load calculations, energy yield analysis, and system sizing.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, renewable energy standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and maintain solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on emerging solar technologies and industry best practices.
