Lighting Designer

About the Role : The role of Lighting Designer collaborates with Senior Team Leads and other team members to coordinate and develop a successful design.

The lighting designer plays a critical role in supporting the design team by :

• Producing architectural drawings using software tools such as AutoCAD and / or Revit
• Collecting, analyzing, and selecting lighting from appropriate manufacturers
• Creating and working with models, mock-ups, and prototypes
• Working with senior lighting designers and project managers to coordinate design intent.
• Other duties may include client communication and traveling for meetings and site visits to ensure that the lighting installations are in compliance with the design document

Desired Qualifications :

• Degree in Architecture or Lighting Design or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in REVIT and BIM360
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Dialux and AGI32 Software strongly preferred
• Ability to use software tools to produce architectural drawings and rendering capabilities
• Basic understanding of lighting control systems
• Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills
