Position Summary :
Capgemini Canada is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Security Software Engineer Analyst- Canada with 8-10 years of experience in software development and cloud security to join our team.
As a Lead Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing secure configurations across AWS and GCP environments.
Your role will involve implementing AWS and GCP security best practices, designing and troubleshooting APIs, and leveraging CI / CD tools for efficient deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain secure configurations for IAM Roles, S3 buckets, VPC, Security Groups, Lambda functions, and other AWS Services
- Implement and enforce AWS Security Best Practices
- Manage secure configurations for IAM roles, Cloud Storage buckets, VPC networks, Cloud Functions, and other GCP services
- Must be able to design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using API Gateway
- Working knowledge on Kubernetes, CI / CD tools such as AWS Code Commit, Code Build, Deploy, Jenkins, Gitlab CI / CD etc.
- Knowledge on logging systems such as Splunk, ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail
- Must be able to model and design database components with DynamoDB, RDS, S3
Required Skills :
- 8-10 years of software development experience
- Familiarity with public cloud primitives, such as how they fit into broader architectures, and common security considerations, particularly with AWS.
GCP and Kubernetes familiarity is ideal. For example, a candidate should understand the purpose of an SSH bastion, why it might be useful, and how it can be employed securely.
Specific areas of interest include network security (e.g., VPCs and security groups), IAM (e.g., roles, resource policies), data security (e.
g., access control surfaces for things like S3 / DynamoDB / RDS, encryption).
- Familiarity with IAC - both the principle of what it is and how it is used, and experience with Terraform specifically.
- Previous experience with social media industry internal tooling is a plus.
