Responsibilities :
- To communicate with the employer regarding updates as the projects progress.
- To be on-site and manage day-to-day residential renovation duties including, but not limited to, demolition, excavation, framing, finish carpentry, interior and exterior finishes.
- To be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- To have knowledge and understanding of current building codes and typical renovation requirements.
- To keep the job site clean and organized for work fluency and safety.
- To be respectful of customers and their property.
- To have the desire to provide the customer with the best quality of work and be open to learning new ways to be efficient.
- Punctuality and communication are very important skills and definitely an asset.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a residential carpenter.
- Carpentry certification an asset but not necessary.
- Strong knowledge of tools and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Other training such as working at heights, elevated platform lift, and first aid are all assets.
