The Ideal Candidate Graph’em is Looking For :

Bilingual Senior Full Stack Developer

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with project management skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in various technologies and frameworks, as well as the ability to lead projects, in collaboration with our CTO.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Fluency in French and English
• 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in PHP with 5+ years of backend development experience
• Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom plugin and theme development
• 3+ years of experience with Laravel framework
• 5+ years of JavaScript development
• Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
• Experience with Linux server administration and VPS management
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services
• Proven track record in team leadership and project management
• Expert-level proficiency with Git and version control best practices
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with automated testing and TDD practices
• Understanding of web security best practices
• Contributions to open-source projects

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applicationsCoordinate project planning and strategies with CTO
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and implement best practices
• Optimize application performance and improve user experience
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Act as project manager on select projects, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery
• Ensuring that the projects you are managing are following company policies, in terms of budgets and customer relationships
• Make sure that the projects you are managing are solvent
• Balance technical development work with project management duties as needed

Compensation

Salary to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule & Place of work

The schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday during regular business hours, in compliance with BC labor laws.
