Apna Law LLP is a centrally located firm based in South Burnaby practicing in the areas of Personal Injury, Family Law, Defamation, Estate Law, and Business Litigation.
We are expanding our team and looking for an additional legal administrative assistant to join our team.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications : - A Legal Administrative Assistant diploma from a recognized institution or an equivalent paralegal diploma / degree- Experience in civil litigation / personal injury litigation / family law- Experience with document management and practice management systems (ie.
PCLaw, Clio, ESILaw, etc).- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Duties include : - Maintaining Limitation date and BF / Tasks Systems- Coordinating with clients- Requesting clinical records- Coordinating expert witnesses- Filing, photocopying, scanning- Document management and organization- Scheduling appointments and client meetingsSalary will be commensurate with experience and skill-sets.
