Whatis in it foryou :

Hourly salary of $30.65.

12monthcontract.

Fulltime : 37.50 hoursper week.

Flexible schedule : shifts start between 8 am and 10am.

Hybrid work : 2 remote daysand 3 days in the office (Tuesday toThursday).

Responsibilities :

Analyze group characteristics benefits and plandesigns.

Analyze premium andclaims information to appropriately price newbusiness.

Provide underwritingdecisions through clear verbal and writtencommunications.

Conductconstructive negotiations using underwriting judgment andguidelines.

Evaluate and act onrisk propositions.

Accuratelyprice new and existing businessopportunities.

Provide valueaddedunderwriting and benefit recommendations to maximize clients groupbenefitspend.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Previous experience in a customer serviceorientedrole.

Previous underwritingexperience an asset.

Previousenrollment in or completion of LOMA HIAA or CEBS anasset.

Mathematicalaptitude.

Proficient in MicrosoftWord Microsoft Excel (intermediatelevel).

Knowledge of andexperience with Group Life and Health concepts benefits andproducts.

Ability to handle highvolumes fluctuating workloads and multiple priorities within settime constraints.

Skills instrategic decisionmaking negotiation and influencingtechniques.

Able to effectivelyapply technical expertise.

Bilingual in English and French (spoken andwritten).
