Reporting to the Superintendent, the Driller will be responsible for providing drilling, GeoExchange and geothermal system installation duties.
What You'll Do Here :
- Operate drilling equipment and follow all standard operating procedures while maintaining a safe work environment
- Setup and maintain hose lines and water connections.
- Clean and maintain equipment and tooling
- Assist with maintenance and repair of drilling equipment
- Inventory management and data entry of QA / QC information.
- Multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g., load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment, and construction materials;
move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas).
- Support U-Bend loop installation and grouting by operating grouter, tremie reel, despooler and other related equipment.
- Instruct and train junior personnel in duties, safe work practices, care and use of tools and equipment.
- Complete work-related safety documents and submit in a timely manner
- Carry out manual labour duties such lifting and working with materials weighing up to 25kg.

What You Bring to the Team :
- Minimum of 2 years relevant drilling experience on single rotary, dual rotary, and / or air drilling (water well, micropiling, geoexchange, etc.)
- Capacity for manual dexterity with physical strength and stamina.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively work on teams with a desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to interpret drawings, develop / interpret work, instructions, and plan projects for self and others an asset.
- Energy to use stairs, ladders, and climb over rough terrain.
- Capability to work long hours per day in all weather conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, team participation and communication skills
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
- Required Tickets : MOL 4 Step Safety Awareness, Ontario Working at Heights, Valid Drivers License
- Metatarsal guarded steel toed CSA rubber boots required.
- Preferred (but not required) Tickets : H2S Alive CSTS Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Energy Safety Canada 1st Supervisors Blow Out Prevention Resources Drilling Technician Diploma Rig Technician Earth loop technician Ground Disturbance Level II Skidsteer Certification Telehandler Certification
