Legal SecretaryDrake is looking for a full-time Legal Secretary for a fund governance firm.The role is remote and would require an experienced and organized professional dedicated to providing exceptional client service within board support.

Key responsibilities would include :

  • Coordinate and schedule regular Board meetings
  • Maintain a detailed schedule of upcoming meetings, ensuring timely creation and distribution of meeting notifications, agendas, board packs, correspondence, and ratification items
  • Effectively liaise with any minute preparers meeting expected deadlines and appropriately review and finalize the minutes.

Ensure the minutes meet best practices and regulatory standards for distribution to Directors / Investment Managers. As necessary, proven ability in drafting clear and accurate meeting minutes in a timely manner draft accurate minutes

  • Experience in a client facing role building strong relationships with Directors, Investment Managers, and service providers through effective and timely verbal, written, and electronic correspondence
  • Address client and service provider inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Efficiently handle post-meeting action items and keep files and records up to date
  • Maintain minutes and corporate records in appropriate systems
  • Participate in internal projects related to meeting support and document maintenance. Key qualifications and experience include :
  • 3-5 years’ experience providing board support / corporate secretary services
  • A corporate secretarial qualification is preferred
  • Display excellent attention to detail and possess strong time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Competency in MS Office and Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Teams
  • Administrative and document management experience
  • Outstanding organizational skills with structured approach to documentation
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workflows effectively
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with third parties including clients
  • Established track record of meeting precise reporting deadlines and fulfilling challenging client commitments
  • Understanding of AML / KYC and compliance regulations
  • Always maintain utmost confidentiality Experience in Minute processes in an assetSalary : $60,000+
