Visual Merchandiser

All of our store managers, district managers and sales directors started out on the floor at our stores and worked their way up through the company, so they understand the needs of their front-line employees on a personal level they were there once, too.

Browns Shoes, a family-owned business established in Montreal in 1940, now with over 70 stores across Canada, is synonymous with top international designer collections, luxurious leather goods, and exclusive street savvy fashion for ladies, men and children.

You will work under the guidance of the visual team. Provide support for the team and assist in basic tasks within the Browns visual standards and visual instructions.

• Merchandises products (shoes, handbags, accessories) according to visual standards.
• Grid verifications to ensure floor fixtures are structured as per visual instructions
• Replenishes products from stock as needed
• Verifies that visual instructions and standards are maintained
• Re-boxes unnecessary stock from previous instructions that are no longer needed
• Ensures in-store displays are presentable and tidy
• Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of interior / exterior windows and window displays
• Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of visual supplies and signage
• Store front and back store
• Verifies that bestsellers are on sale racks
• Assists in store openings
• When working weekends, provides a report to the VMM on Monday of any issues or areas of improvement regarding merchandising during weekend hours.
• Car required
• Monday to Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 PM
