Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to join the Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) team in Vancouver. Reporting to theVCHOperations Directoron the Vancouver Community team,the Clinical Operations Manageris responsible forproviding clinical and operational leadership to the Vancouver Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program.
The successful applicant comes with strong leadership skills and experience inleading clinical teams,change management, team development, andbudget oversight.
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
ACT teams bring health care and life-skills support to clients; all of whom would have difficulty arranging and keeping appointments with traditional office-based health care practitioners. ACT uses a trauma informed approach to promote recovery through community-based treatment and rehabilitation. The ACT teamsstrivesto reduce the number of contacts between police and their clients with severe and persistent mental health conditions and substance use concerns.

Knowledge & Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of budget and financial management, overtime and sick leave management, and workforce rotation and staffing design is considered an advantage.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
