Aircraft Mechanic / Field Line Mechanic (M1)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
KASI Aviation is a North American leader in airborne Lidar and Bathymetric survey operations. We are a flight service provider operating mainly throughout the Americas and the Caribbean Islands.
Our current fleet of aircraft is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, adventurous, and solution-oriented mechanic to join the team.
Our HQ is in Quebec Canada but our Mechanics can be located anywhere in the US or Canada as this job involves travel to airports throughout North America & the Caribbean, based on the location of any given project.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Line maintenance
- Travel to meet aircraft and pilot for on-field maintenance events
- Conduct preventative maintenance on the aircraft systems, replacing parts and documenting work done on the aircraft
- Communicate snags, issues, and observations to the PRM
- Help coordinate planned maintenance events with the base of operations
- Manage inventory, parts requests, and job cards from on sight locations
SKILLS :
- MUST HOLD a Transport Canada AME license (M1) *those without, need not apply.
- Valid Passport
- Driver’s License
- Minimum experience of 2 years in the maintenance of civil or military aircraft
- Adaptable, good organizational skills, attention to detail
- Team-player
- Resourceful and autonomous
- Strong English, essential
Assets
- Experience working in a hangar
- Experience with Piper aircraft
- Experience with TIO-540 engines
- Bilingual French and English
