Ashern, MB R0C, Canada Req #327 Wednesday, March 27, 2024 Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join our Tim Hortons team in Ashern, Manitoba.
Job Description :
Food service supervisors supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of workers who prepare, portion and serve food.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers.
- Establish work schedules and procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
- Supervise and check the assembly of regular and special diet trays and delivery of food trolleys to hospital patients.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
- May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Supervisory experience of 1+ years.
- Experience in the Food Services Industry is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Tim Horton’s products and procedures.
- Completion of secondary school.
- Strong interpersonal skills (motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, listening).
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
- Due to this position’s sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
