Job description

The kitchen department clerk is responsible for supporting the cooks and clerks. He / she receives, arranges and places the different products in order to maintain a clean and safe work area.

His / her work consists of 60% of dishwashing and 40% of supporting the cooks and production clerks.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the reception and storage of merchandise according to established standards;
• Pack and label products according to established standards;
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment and supplies;
• Washes and stores dishes;
• Operates dishwasher, checks dishes for cleanliness;
• Cleans and maintains sanitary work area, counters and shelves, hoods and cold rooms;
• Sweeps and mops the floor;
• Adheres to established food safety and sanitation standards;
• Is vigilant to minimize breakage and loss of merchandise;
• Other related duties.

• You have great communication skills and are attentive to the needs of production;
• Your personality is characterized by your dynamism, your interpersonal skills and your resourcefulness;
• You must be available according to the business' opening hours and according to various schedules.
