Job description
The kitchen department clerk is responsible for supporting the cooks and clerks. He / she receives, arranges and places the different products in order to maintain a clean and safe work area.
His / her work consists of 60% of dishwashing and 40% of supporting the cooks and production clerks.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the reception and storage of merchandise according to established standards;
- Pack and label products according to established standards;
- Ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment and supplies;
- Washes and stores dishes;
- Operates dishwasher, checks dishes for cleanliness;
- Cleans and maintains sanitary work area, counters and shelves, hoods and cold rooms;
- Sweeps and mops the floor;
- Adheres to established food safety and sanitation standards;
- Is vigilant to minimize breakage and loss of merchandise;
- Other related duties.
Requirements :
- You have great communication skills and are attentive to the needs of production;
- Your personality is characterized by your dynamism, your interpersonal skills and your resourcefulness;
- You must be available according to the business' opening hours and according to various schedules.
