Branch Manager - Maple Creek
To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Branch Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in Maple Creek, SK.
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the achievement of the location business plan objectives and fulfilling the expectations of all stakeholders (customers and employees) for Pattison Agriculture.
You will provide leadership in evaluating, allocating, and managing human, physical, and financial resources for the location while optimizing the profitable growth of the business, the personal growth of employees, and the satisfaction of customers.
Responsibilities
This individual’s responsibilities include :
- Oversee Ag Sales staff in their assigned territories on a day-to-day basis
- Represent the company for machinery sales, both walk in and outside customers
- Maintain product knowledge on all equipment for sale with an emphasis on
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing marketing & action plans to increase overall market share area
- Work with General Mgr on pricing of multi-deals, key customer acquisitions, targeted competitive customers
- Review weekly call, and monthly sales reports to ensure sales and profit goals are met
- Provide input on trade values and appraisals; reviews re-conditioning estimates
- Manage equipment displays and overall yard appearance and attractiveness
- Execute business plan, and support store’s overall efforts to achieve goals in financial performance, sales, budgets, cost control
- Ensure appropriate communication takes place within dept and company wide including regular dept mgmt or all staff meetings
- Support corporate managers in implementing changes in any dept within the location
- Develop / maintain positive relationships with all customers and employees, resolve any elevated issues as needed
- Manage staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
- Providing input to the hiring, development, coaching, evaluation, effectiveness of the Mgmt team and other employees within their store
- Oversees maintenance, security, professional appearance of the facility / property
Requirements
This would be an ideal position if you have :
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing or other related field
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Management experience in increasingly responsible roles
- In-depth knowledge of the ag industry combined with a proven understanding of requirements for successful branch operations;
demonstrated experience in leading others and successfully coaching within an organization
