SAP Functional Consultant
PositionResponsibilities
- Work onproduction support to ensure current SAP production environment isworking to support business needs including month quarter andyearend financial reporting.
- Work withBusiness Analysts and Developers to assess current technicalcapabilities propose technical solutions for business requirementsand translate them into technical requirements.
- Deliverables are functional specifications and integrateddesign specifications.
- Work closely with theBA team in developing the test strategy (UAT) and relevantapplication areas to test
- Unit Testing andsupporting the testing teams in translating requirements and usecases into test conditions and expected results.
- Adhere to existing processes including the systemdevelopment life cycle & project management methodologyarchitecture.
- Contribute to project plans byparticipating in scoping and estimating design and configurationeffort for proposed projects.
- Communicateproject status provide timely escalation of issues to the Projectmanagers.
- Work with internal teams to identifybusiness issues and / or enhancements.
- Providehighly innovative solutions that drive process improvements withavailable hardware software databases and peripherals.
- Work with BA Team to facilitate business requirementsgathering process (SAP blueprinting)
- Work withother Functional leads to understand cross functional solutions andimpact on Projects and support.
- Overnightsupport for end of day and beginning of day issues
