Do you love interacting with people while sharing and growing your automotive knowledge? If so, Colonial Auto Parts, part of the Colonial Auto Group, is searching for a Branch Manager with outside account sales responsibility for the Clarenville region.

Started in 1926, the Colonial Auto Group is Atlantic Canada’s largest family owned and operated automotive parts provider.

We are seeking an individual looking for long-term employment who is a team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and customer-focused mindset.

The ideal candidate will have a background in leadership, sales management, and customer service within the auto parts industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and financial transactions
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive branch profitability and growth
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to enhance retention and loyalty
  • Customer account sales visits

Skills :

  • Automotive product and mechanical knowledge are a definite asset
  • Superior customer service skills, both on the phone and in person
  • Manage customer relations throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to safety regulations
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management
  • Proven record of accomplishment in sales management and achieving sales targets
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
  • Proficiency in cash handling procedures
  • Identify new business through prospecting and cold calls

As a condition of employment, we require a police background check acceptable to the company, a clean drivers abstract, and maintenance of a clean and valid driver’s license.

There is a three-month probationary period prior to permanent status. Only those applicants with the necessary qualifications will be contacted.

Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
