Duties
Providing visitor service and information, revenue collection and daily cleaning / maintenance at campgrounds & day use areas to enhance the visitor experience.
This includes but is not limited to :
Greeting visitors and providing orientation, information and direction
Confirming reservations
Selling campsites
Cleaning campground washrooms and other facilities on a daily basis such as day use area washrooms and pit privies
Cleaning and maintaining campsites
Cleaning grounds and picking litter
Stacking and bagging firewood
Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
Participating in special events

Intent of the process
The results may be used in the future to fill other temporary student vacancies that may arise in the Banff Field Unit, in various locations, with full or part-time hours for various tenures, depending on status of the selected candidate.

Open to students currently enrolled in secondary or post-secondary school in an accredited institution and / or those participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution.
EXPERIENCE IN :
Providing information and service to the public, including complaint resolution
Point of sale equipment operation, cash handling, and balancing daily sales
Cleaning washrooms and facilities in a commercial setting
