Our client, in the energy services industry, is looking for a solutions architect consultant to join their team in Toronto for a 1 year contract.
Your new role : As a Solutions Architect, the candidate will apply an in-depth knowledge of the platform to solveplex business problems.
The candidate will help provide technical expertise and leadership to the project delivery team while ensuring that solutions arepliant with enterprise architectural standards and industry best practices.
The project delivery team includes both internal (business clients, business analysts, etc.) and external resources (vendors).
The candidate’s ability to liaise andmunicate effectively among the various stakeholders will be critical to ensure high quality deliverables.Responsibilities :
- Lead the delivery of various IT solutions while effectively collaborating with various stakeholders (business clients, enterprise architects, system integrators / vendors, etc.)
- Translate business requirements and present technical vision and solutions in the form of modules, customizations, and integrations
- Assess the current technical architecture and work with technical staff to define future states
- Prepare technical documentation such as solution specifications, architecture diagrams, etc.
- Ensure end-to-end solution consistency and quality
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team throughout the project
Work experience :
- At least 5+ years of experience in a senior technical capacity
- Experience in development and delivery of some of the following technologies : J2EE, SAP Data Services, Report tools, database stored procedure, ETL tools, front end web site,plex SQLs, web services, data modelling
- Understand cybersecurity and demonstrate the ability to assess and prevent applications and data from cyber attacks
- Experience with customizations (including reporting)
- Experience with integration with other systems and knowledge in various integration patterns
- Experience with data migrations
- Experience with writing code (software development)
- Experience with build, promote and release of management processes

- Excellent analytical skills to assess ideas / requirements and propose solutions
