On behalf of a leading transportation company, Protrans Personnel Services is seeking a full-time Walkie Operator to work in Mississauga (Ontario)

Dock Loader- Start Immediately.

Location : Dixie & Britannia intersection (Mississauga)

Shift Hours :

Afternoon Shift : 4PM to 12 : 30AM (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate : $25.25 / hr.

PREFERRED TO HAVE - WALKIE LICENSE. SHOLD BE ABLE TO USE E-PALLET JACK AS WELL.

JOB Description

• $25.25 / hour - Opportunity to be hired full-time with benefits
• Full-Time with Optional Over time
• Responsible for unloading freight manually or mechanically from incoming trucks or trailers. Count and sort product when required.

Record any shortages, damages, overages on the pick-up or Linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the shift Foreman or Lead-Hand.

Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks or trailers and shrink wrap and secure pallets when required.

Ensure that appropriate bills are with the skid.

• Pick orders for shipping from picking slips .
• Locate orders according to slips (freezer). Ensure accurate piece count.
• Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.
• Responsible for inventory control (manual and computer).
• All other duties as required.

Forklift Associate - Requirements :

• Preferred forklift certified
• Ability to work in a cold, refrigerated environment for up to 8 hours is necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Overtime may be required occasionally
• Safety shoes
• Background Check
