ClearVision Technologies (a subsidiary of Valco Melton) designs high-speed, camera-based vision inspection systems for the manufacturing sector. Located in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, BC, the ClearVision team is a highly specialized group of engineers focused on providing innovative vision solutions.

Job Description

This position is an opportunity to become an important member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary design team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining machine vision analysis software designed for the industrial environment. Your contributions will be on many levels, including : user interface, image overlays, device and software interfaces, database logging, configuration management, and algorithm performance improvements. Projects will allow you to follow through the full development cycle; prototyping and lab testing, design and implementation, testing and bug fixing, on-site validation and training, troubleshooting and remote support.

Location and Team

You will work with the ClearVision team in Vancouver and with engineers based at Valco Melton's headquarters in Cincinnati. Position is based at the ClearVision office in downtown Vancouver. ClearVision has a diverse, supportive, and close-knit team environment with weekly lunches and other employee events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience post-graduation.
• 5+ years of experience with C / C++ / C#.
• 5+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience.
• 2+ years of UI experience with WPF, WinUI, or MAUI.
• 2+ years of Visual Studio / VS Code.
• 2+ years of Git or other source code revision control.
• Strong focus on clean code and robust design.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Driver's License (Class 5).
