Key duties and responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 14001 environmental management system and the National Safety Standardization Level 2 system, ensuring their effective operation and successful audit passage.
• Ensure plant operations consistently comply with local environmental, safety, and occupational health laws and regulations, and other compliance requirements in China.
• Lead or participate in workplace risk assessments and implement effective control measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
• Organize and conduct EHS training to enhance employees\' safety awareness and skills.
• Investigate EHS-related incidents / accidents, perform root cause analysis, and track the verification of corrective and preventive actions.
• Be responsible for collecting, monitoring, calculating, and reporting the plant\'s key sustainability data, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, water usage, waste generation, etc., ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in and drive sustainability improvement projects focused on energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, waste minimization, etc.
• Research and evaluate decarbonization solutions and investing in renewable energy projects; assist management in decision-making and execution.
• Support the corporate headquarters\' ESG strategy by implementing plant-level ESG projects and completing assigned tasks.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and testing the plant\'s Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• Manage relationships with local EHS and other relevant government agencies and be responsible for relevant communication and reporting.
• Ensure the requirements and processes of the EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and Safety Standardization) are effectively implemented and aligned with quality system principles.
• Participate in internal audits and management reviews, providing input for the continuous improvement of the EHS management systems.
