About the role
We’re looking for a QA Analyst II to join our growing team!
What you'll do here :
- Assume responsibility for the preparation of deliverable tests and associated documents and provide support during these tests.
- Prepare test cases, test matrices and reports, and any other document required in your area based on Intact’s standards, processes and procedures.
- Provides technical support and guidance to business on system issues.
- Identify, document and work closely with the product owner (PO), the developers and the scrum master to resolve issues by performing sufficient analysis to determine the root cause of defects, as required.
- Examine, analyze and assess requirements to prepare test plans and test cases.
- Participate in walkthroughs, demos, and estimating.
- Work with meticulous accuracy and produce deliverables of exceptional quality.
What you bring to the table :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst in an innovative environment within a large organization.
- Experience with BDD / Gherkin.
- Experience in working in a Hybrid testing model (UI automation & manual).
- Experience with SAFe Agile Methodology.
- Can work in an ever-changing IT environment and with multidisciplinary teams.
- Can communicate technical terminologies in non-technical language and vice versa.
- Skills sought : Integrity, respect, committed, responsible, customers and results oriented.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to set and manage competing priorities.
- Flexible to work outside of normal business hours including weekends occasionally.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector, an asset.
- Bilinguism is considered an asset (FR-ENG) -
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
