The Database Administrator plays a key role within the Data Management team, with primary responsibility for administering and optimizing enterprise data platforms to support scalable analytics and AI / ML initiatives across the healthcare ecosystem. This position focuses on stabilizing and modernizing the organization's data infrastructure and ensures that data services are secure, performant, and aligned with evolving business needs.

What You Bring to the Table
Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server for enterprise data solutions and analytics workloads.
Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning, including indexing, query optimization, and execution plan analysis to ensure high-performance database operations.
Hands-on experience with modern data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL / ELT platforms) for building scalable data pipelines. o Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, and design of star and snowflake schemas to support analytical reporting.
Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred) and CI / CD workflows for database deployments.
Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, pharmacy) is a strong asset.
Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements in healthcare.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity and quality.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive healthcare data.
Adaptable and open to change, with a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation : At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
