Our Downtown Calgary Oil & Gas enterprise client is seeking an Intermediate SAP MM Functional Consultant to provide integration, enhancement, and process improvement support within a S / 4 HANA environment .
This is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate may work % remotely following MST working hours.
Position Overview : Reporting to the Manager, ERP Applications, the SAP MM Consultant will engage and position with the ERP Competency Centre providing support, enhancement, and growth responsibilities for the SAP S / 4 HANA environment.
This role is the primary liaison between the SCM Group and the ERP Competency Centre to support and build the relationship and provide solutions and continuous improvement.
Must-Haves :
- 7+ years' SAP MM Functional experience
- Expertise in configuring and implementing core MM and logistics modules
- Experience in integration with other core SAP modules
- Recent experience supporting and working within a S / 4 HANA environment
- Proficient in business process analysis, documentation, process mapping, and process flows
Key Activities and Responsibilities :
- Perform as subject matter expert for the SAP MM & Logistics modules and business processes, providing support for process execution
- Gather, investigate and document business process and functional requirements
- Perform gap analysis between current and future state scenarios, implementation planning including development of implementation plans
- Identify opportunities for and provide recommendation on business process enhancements
- Lead test strategy development and facilitate sessions with staff and business members to execute test cases
- Communicate effectively with business users and internal teams to deliver functional requirements, assist with documentation, create process maps, etc.
- Assist in the development of communications and training to support change management actions for any projects or initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business users and internal team members;
- Assist Project Manager with project schedule development and maintenance
- Utilize expertise in project management, process improvement, metrics, requirements management and understanding of the organization’s systems to ensure the most efficient use of resources
