Licensed Practical Nurse (lpn), Community

Position Summary

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Fort St. John Health Unit.

Reporting to the Home & Community Care Program Manager and under the work direction of the Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of tasks to support client care in the community.

Duties include such tasks as supporting the Long Term Care Case Managers, and assisting in the duties that are associated with the Long Term Care Case Management Program.

Duties are carried out in accordance with agency policies, procedures and philosophy of care.

Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Days, Nights, 07 : 00 to 19 : 00, 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 (Rotating)

New Wage : As of April 1, 2024 the new wage is : $32.84 - $44.96 / hour

Fort St. John is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021)and serves an area of approximately 69,000.

Qualfications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
• A valid drivers license.
