THE JOB : Engagement Manager, Interior

This position requires the selected candidate to be located in the Interior region.

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range : $92,077 - $115,096

Reporting to the Director, Facility & Community Engagement, the Engagement Manager, Interior, will oversee the Engagement Partners assigned to the Interior portfolio by providing strategic and operational direction and guidance, issue management support, and coordination and development of information, tools and structures for Engagement Partners’ work.

The Manager will lead and assist provincial and regional committees related to physician engagement, and co-develop program strategy, policies and operation for the Facility Engagement Initiative.

WHAT YOU BRING

A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or graduate university degree and / or recognized professional designation, and up to six years of progressive and related experience;

or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of a specific discipline in the health, not-for-profit, government or business sector and operational knowledge in the area of expertise.
  • Proven ability to understand cross-department impact and provide significant input and recommendationsregarding the department plan and strategies.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify issues, gathers facts and resolves operational problems.
  • Ability to collaborate with Director and other leaders in the organization to resolve strategic issues.
  • Experience in managing a wide variety of projects as opportunities arise from normal department operations and may be sought for input in areas of expertise.
  • Responsible for making decisions on performance, discipline, and hiring for the team.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing landscape while meeting project deadlines and deliverables as position has direct impact on the team and may impact the entire organization.
  • Experience with stakeholder relations and managing teams in complex systems.
  • Project and budget management experience, including experience with planning, evaluation, performance measurement, and change management strategies.
  • Excellent financial management skills and high financial literacy.
  • Effective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
