Role Summary : Parsons Roofing is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead our financial operations. This role is pivotal in managing our cash flow and financial forecasting, overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring budget adherence, and maintaining compliance with tax and legal standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic insights to minimize financial variances, optimize our financial health, and lead the finance department towards sustained success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and forecast cash flow, oversee accounting procedures and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and legal codes.
- Identify financial issues and areas for improvement; implement corrective measures.
- Communicate financial findings, updates, and concerns directly with company owners.
- Lead and manage the finance department, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role at a similar level.
- Profound knowledge of accounting principles, fiscal planning, budgeting, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
