The Opportunity :
What youwould be doing.
Reporting tothe Director of Operations, Distribution Centre Manager will beresponsible for the management of the distribution center to ensure thatcompany’s internal and external customer service standards and objectives arefully met.
This position will alsoperform warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, orderprocessing †picking, packing, staging, shipping and general maintenance andhousekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Plan and manage product distribution activities to achieve company goals.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with team members.
- Implement new distribution strategies to obtain profitability.
- Analyze existing distribution procedures and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and manage inventories at distribution center.
- Identify appropriate resources and assign workload and schedules to them.
- Oversee daily operations of team members and provide assistance whenever needed.
- Perform basic administration duties and maintain clear and complete accounting records.
- Provide outstanding customer services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage storage and handling of inventories in warehouses.
- Prepare budgets and manage expenses within budgets.
- Manage carriers to perform distributions in the assigned routes.
- Develop and manage appropriate KPI-s and scorecards to ensure operational oversight
What are we looking for.
- 5-10 years of leadership experience preferably in a wholesale / distribution environment.
- Management and customer service skills.
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and culture
- Demonstrate a strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Acts with ownership, sense of urgency and demonstrated initiative
- A strong work ethic, reliable and dependable.
- High attention to details, accurate and efficient.
- Be energetic and self-motivated.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Maintain a business-like manner at all times.
- Dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Experience working with RF scanners.
- Understand the needs to prioritize work schedules to meet company goals.

- Must have flexibility in their work schedule as they may be asked to work an occasional Saturday branch open.
