Warehouse Receiver / Customer Service

Drake International is currently seeking a Warehouse Receiver / Customer Service Rep for one of our industrial warehousing clients in Kelowna, BC.

Our client is a wholesale and distribution company providing access to the industries best power solutions. The successful candidate will be performing various warehouse duties, ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner. What We Offer :

• Salary : $20-22 / hr
• Shift : Monday Friday 8AM 4 : 30PM

What You’ll Do :

• Greeting customers and handling all customer requests
• Providing customers exceptional service by offering detailed company and product information
• Inputting customer orders into the system, providing seamless customer service
• Warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking and organizing inventory
• Safely and efficiently load, unload and deliver products to customers
• Receive incoming shipments and compare them to purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Count and verify inventory before storing it in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

What We're Looking For :

• Relevant experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks an asset
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
