Our valued client is currently looking for a Sr DevOps Engineer to support developing and implementing automated processes to streamline software development, testing, and deployment.
Initial until end of , possibility of extension or conversion to permanent. Remote or hybrid in Montreal (3 days per week onsite, 2 remote).
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing and implementing automated processes to streamline software development, testing, and deployment.
- Work with stakeholders to identify areas for automation, and develop tools and scripts to automate tasks.
- Monitor and optimize the automated processes to ensure they are running efficiently.
- Manage and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Manage and improve CI / CD tooling.
- Maintain system security and compliance.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies with the objective of continuous improvement of its product, its team and its processes.
- Support platform users and fix bugs
Must-Haves :
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps , working in a CI / CD environment for executing automated tests, deployments, etc.
- Kubernetes and / or OpenShift
- Experience using Gitlab-CI
- Experience using Docker
- Extensive expertise in test integration (unit testing, integration testing, TDD, BDD, etc.)
Nice-to-Haves :
- Experience with Helm
- Secret management (Vault)
- Python scription and API usage
- Experience with databases PostgreSQL, particularly in relation to Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience with Feature flags (Launch Darkly)
- Good knowledge of networks (firewall, DNS, GRCP, etc.)
