Sales Engineer Associate

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer Associate to join our team. The Sales Engineer Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Engineer by reviewing and clarifying technical requirements, creating clear tickets, assisting with presale research, conducting technical analysis, and validating post-sales data and setups.

This position requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and clarify requirements communicated by the Customer Success team and clients, ensuring accurate understanding and alignment.

This requires getting involved in clients meetings when needed to discuss requirements or propose solutions.

• Create clear tickets following best practices established within the organization.
• Own the pre-sale process and propose improvements
• Assist the Sales Engineer with presale research, requirements clarification, and validation before the scoping process.
• Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to conduct technical analysis necessary for requirements scoping.
• Validate post-sales data and client setups to facilitate developers in achieving the necessary work.
• Occasionally assist managers and account managers with configuring product features and providing suggestions for addressing client requests.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a technical support role is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Jira ticketing software (or similar software) and best practices for ticket management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with product configuration and feature setup is a plus.
