Location : Sarnia, ON

Job Type : Seasonal

Shift Available : Day shift

Compensation : $19.00 / hr

Term Length : June - end of August

Principal Accountabilities :

• Sweeping
• Shoveling
• Trimming weeds
• Painting
• Site housekeeping (sign installation, site clean-up, setting up fencing)
• Aiding with deliveries
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, bending / stooping, climbing ladders, open / close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal / written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Actively enrolled in post-secondary institution
• Experience working in a production or plant environment
