As a key member of the Pendopharm Specialty Sales Force, you will contribute to the attainment of the overall objectives for the Gastroenterology business unit.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main focus will be achieving sales targets by representing Pendopharm products and servicing various members of the health care system within your defined territory.

Your clientele consists primarily of selected Gastroenterologists, General Surgeons, and Internists. You will also interact with various other HCPs : Nurses, Endoscopy Suite decision makers, purchasing and Hospital pharmacists as required.

Territory : Alberta and Saskatchewan

Responsabilities & tasks :

  • Analyze, prioritize, and establish call order and route optimization that maximizes opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Achieve territory sales results through the analysis of relevant performance reports and implementation of appropriate actions
  • Deliver required territory promotional effort (targeted details / product and reach and frequency vs objectives, marketing programs achievements, project management, hospital formulary coverage, message delivery etc.

and ensure timely feedback to district sales management and marketing

  • Maintain and utilize excellent product knowledge and effective selling skills to influence key target customers to support the use of promoted products
  • Recommend sales and marketing strategies based on evaluation of customer needs, dynamics, trends and competitors’ products or services
  • Contribute to and attend meetings, conferences and training programs as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly adverse event reporting and PAAB

Skills, knowledge & abilities :

  • Strong communication, presentation and account management skills
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • Capacity to deliver results against a defined territory business plan
  • Experience with account planning, territory analysis and demonstrated success in account management
  • Proficiency with computer and data manipulation / analysis, Veeva or any other CRM familiarity is an asset
  • Familiarity with scientific data and clinical research
  • Previous GI experience (an asset)
