Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Services Infrastructure & Capital Projects

Make an impact with MNP as a Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Capital Projects. In this role, you will be the person responsible for building our practice in this field while having the support of the firm's partners.
You will work alongside a diverse and multidisciplinary team to advise your clients on various aspects of their major infrastructure projects, including governance, financing, risk sharing, procurement approaches, compliance, and more.
As a trusted advisor, you will produce effective internal controls aimed at protecting our customers' assets and increasing the reliability of their financial information.

Expertise required
- Accompany and advise clients in various phases of their infrastructure projects' lifecycle, from the initiation / design, financing, procurement and construction phases to the operation phase.
- Advise clients on complex financial matters, litigation resolution, project procurement, financial modelling and analysis (cash flow and / or accounting basis, net present value (NPV), options, etc.
- and alternative approaches to project management (design, construction; integrated project delivery; design, construction, financing;
design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance, etc.).
- Provide technical expertise on the financial and transactional parameters of projects, such as budgets, payment mechanisms, financial guarantees and closings, financial modelling, recoveries and variance accounting.
- Offer advice on project agreements such as public-private partnerships and the execution of financial default guarantees during the design, construction and operational phases.
- Suggest partnership strategies for larger-scale projects.
- Evaluate, suggest and implement improvements to clients' procedures and control frameworks, then document them.
- Plan and manage mandates and mandate teams.
- Perform analyses and write reports.
- Respond to requests for proposals.
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs.
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members so that they can thrive and improve through clear objectives, regular feedback and annual performance reviews.
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.
Skills and Experience
- CPA designation a strong asset
- At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure consulting or any field related to the required expertise
- Strong business development skills
- Writing skills
- Team player
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
