About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and sharp Direct Response Copywriter who brings together persuasive writing, SEO fluency, and a basic understanding of AI tools. This is not a copy-paste gig; it’s a high-leverage role for someone who can blend emotional intelligence with performance-driven content. You’ll write copy for websites, funnels, emails, and social guided by clear briefs that include offer details, brand tone, and strategic direction. Your job isn’t to read minds; it’s to elevate client messaging using strong inputs and your expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, async, and flexible environment and who brings their own flair to the table. What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

Delivers all assignments on time with strong communication

Captures and adapts to client tone and brand voice using detailed briefs provided during onboarding

Writes SEO-optimized copy that supports campaign goals

Demonstrates strong self-management, initiative, and critical thinking

Brings expert-level attention to detail and quality

Feels like a strategic partner, not a task-taker

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling, conversion-focused copy for websites, email campaigns, ads, and social media
• Optimize content for SEO using structure, keywords, and data-backed best practices
• Analyze and interpret performance metrics to improve messaging
• Collaborate async via Slack and Loom; operate independently day-to-day
• Work from flexible weekly deliverables schedules
• Use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Semrush, Moz, and Zoho as part of your workflow

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in direct response or performance-based copywriting
• Strong working knowledge of SEO content creation
• Basic proficiency with AI content tools and prompt-building
• Excellent time management, communication, and initiative
• High emotional intelligence with a strategic mindset
• Strong attention to detail ideally, you catch things the client misses
• Familiarity with Slack, Notion, ClickUp, Trello, or similar task systems
