Through software development innovation and predicting the solution for complex business problems, you will be a key member of multiple teams including sales, product development and providing industry expertise to consultants.

In addition, you will play an important role in driving changes in our NetSuite products by providing insights on how customers can be better served by the product development teams.

You will ensure that customers are successful, referenceable, and have a high NPS / Customer Satisfaction. As an early member of the Software Strategy Team, you will be the key consultant in implementing, and navigating our customers to successful use of our software products.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Product Engineer to join our team and drive innovation in the construction industry software space.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction industry challenges in particular with their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and have extensive experience in developing and optimizing software solutions tailored to this sector.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the innovation, design, development, and implementation of our cutting-edge software products, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the construction industry.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including managers, developers, delivery, support and customers, to translate complex requirements into intuitive and efficient software solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations.

In this pivotal role, you will also be the primary advocate for our customers, utilizing your technical expertise to provide exceptional support and drive customer satisfaction.

You will engage directly with clients to understand their pain points, provide training, and offer innovative solutions that demonstrate the value of our products.

• On request, be able to do demonstrations of product (internal and external)

The Essentials

• Very Structured mindset - Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and translate them into effective software features.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Proven ability to quickly deep dive and be the industry expert for the construction industry
• Proven ability to quickly learn software to an expert level
• 5+ years in software engineering for construction industry (preferrably NetSuite)
• Loves problem solving and coming up with solutions
• Loves dealing with customers and can make friend of customers
• Work with little supervision and guidance
• Can assess and define technical feasibility of product use, customization solutions / suggestions and otherwise come back to the product team with clear instructions for custom needs
• Can do a product review of the market and find the key pros cons
• Can support the GTM of a product for the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices, workflows, and pain points.
• Familiarity with construction project management, financial software and tools.
• Strategic thinking to shape the future direction of software products based on customer insights and market trends
