Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Psychology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in conducting standardized assessments of children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental and / or behavioural challenges.
• Consideration may be given to applicants who have a Bachelors degree and equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience and skill in clinical report writing, consultation, and communicating feedback to children, youth and families.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data management and record keeping.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), analytical, critical thinking, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Travel is required for this position; the successful candidate must have a valid Ontario drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical.
• Candidates Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
