Prologic has an exciting opportunity with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) for highly skilled and dedicated Physicians to join our healthcare team.

This position offers the unique opportunity to practice medicine within a multidisciplinary team, supporting the health and readiness of CAF personnel.

Key Responsibilities :

• Practicing medicine in compliance with provincial and national regulatory standards.
• Maintaining accurate patient records within the Canadian Forces Health Information System (CFHIS).
• Conducting Periodic Health Assessments and assessing Medical Fitness for Duty.
• Providing comprehensive medical evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations.
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Prescribing medications and ordering clinical and paraclinical tests as needed.
• Educating patients on illness prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and performing patient counselling.
• Promoting overall health and assessing walk-in patients.
• Immunizing patients, with additional training provided as necessary.
• Monitoring and managing chronic illnesses and referring clients to appropriate services.
• Providing mentorship to members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications :

• Graduation with a Medical Doctorate or equivalent from a recognized medical school (Canadian equivalency required for foreign degrees).
• Unrestricted medical license and good standing with the provincial or territorial regulatory body.
• Hold Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
• Fit-tested for an N-95 (or equivalent) mask within the last two years, with re-testing required upon significant changes in physiognomy.
• A minimum of one full-time equivalent year of experience within the last five years, in a primary care, public or community health, ambulatory, or acute care setting.
• Obtaining a security clearance through Prologic is a requirement
