Alteo is looking for a React Front-End Developer for a permanent position. Company based in Montreal.
90% remote job : office 1 day every 2 weeks
As part of a small experienced team, you will play a leading role in the development of the next generation of an eCommerce solution.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the definition, planning and execution of projects
- Develop reusable React components
- Create, document and use internal / external REST APIs
Profile :
- DEC / BAC in IT, software engineering or equivalent
- 4 to 10 years experience in software development
- Solid experience with React
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML 5 & CSS 3
- Good understanding of responsive front-end frameworks, cross-browser user interfaces / browser limitations, modern web technologies, web security & SEO
- Attention to details and strong commitment to quality
- Experience or desire to learn Ruby (Sinatra)
- Experienced with MySQL (asset)
- Good understanding of REST API (asset)
- Experience with a version control system (Git, SVN)
- Team player, positive attitude
- Ideally bilingual (functional French & English)
Nice to have :
- Background processing scheduler (Sidekiq)
- Distributed Datastore (Elastic Search)
- React Admin

- Solide expertise avec React
- Bonne connaissance approfondie de JavaScript, HTML 5 et CSS 3
- Bonne compréhension des cadres frontaux réactifs, des interfaces utilisateur multi-navigateurs / des limitations des navigateurs, des technologies web modernes, de la sécurité web et du référencement.
- Attention aux détails et fort engagement envers la qualité
- Expérience ou désir d'apprendre Ruby (Sinatra)
- Expérience avec MySQL (atout)
- Bonne compréhension des API REST (atout)
- Expérience avec un système de contrôle de version (Git, SVN)
- Esprit d'équipe, attitude positive
- Idéalement bilingue (français et anglais fonctionnels)
